Here are some things you should know before you apply:
- You need to have been an SDR in the past or currently, this is a non-starter so if you have not, do not proceed.
- You need to live in the USA.
- This is a sales role; we are looking for hunters who will search for and set appointments to close new business daily.
- Your opinion and feedback will matter, and you will never feel like your input is not valued.
- Your position is the lifeblood of our organization, so we treat you that way.
- We are entirely transparent about our pay and bonus structure, so you will always know your pay (unlike at other places), and we do not constantly change your plan.
- We do what we say we will do, so your customers and new accounts you bring in will be taken care of. (You will not be on the phone apologizing for operational issues because there will be none.)
You will need to know some negative things before you apply (See, I told you we are transparent.)
- This is a sales job; therefore, you are expected to make outbound calls, emails and DM’s all day to bring in new accounts.
- Our prospects are business owners, so they are tough to connect with at times.
- You are hunting for new business, which means that you are working on new and old leads all day long. Yes, it is a grind, so you gotta love the hunt, make it fun, and work your plan daily.
The work starts and stops with you. We have created a culture where every employee is set up to win, but you must have initiative, drive, desire, and grit to perform. We create the culture, but every employee is expected to do their job, and yours is to bring in sales.

Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of the sales representative is to grow eMenu’s Philadelphia-based business through restaurant visits and drop-ins; you must create your own book of business by hunting for new business daily. The good news is that there are plenty of opportunities and restaurants to call on.
You will be hunting for new business daily.
You’ll be required to identify, research, and contact qualified leads in our database and on LinkedIn IN daily. You’ll engage in conversations with various positions within your target customer’s business and connect with them to discuss their business and how our coaching and events can assist them in growing.
In short, you’re in the change management business, so that means connecting with our leads and prospects and telling our story to them so they join our programs. You must be comfortable with ethical persuasion and have a passion for helping others choose a better alternative. We know we are the best at what we do (and our numbers prove that), and we need you to help tell others.
Here are some skills you will need to do the job
- You must be curious and able to ask questions and truly listen to the answers.
- You must care about others.
- You must have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
- You must be extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
- You must hold a high level of integrity and a solid commitment to building your customer base and successfully helping the company grow
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Adept computer skills, including proficiency with cloud software
- Experience with CRM applications preferred
